Russian red MAC review

Russian red: buy it or not? This is the dilemma. After a year of indecision and unsuccessful purchase attempts (a few hours time and the color was already sold out) I was able to grab this famous lipstick. My relationship with red lipsticks I would define love hate.I still remember my first lipstick I bought when I was 9 years old  in a supermarket; What colour choose the  sweet little girl  for her  first  makeup experiments? a red lipstick! the  more difficult  colour existing! ( not very suitable to a little girl then XD). And after so many years I choose a red lipstick again,  Russian red. I must say that it was a kind of jump into the void because Red lipsticks can be very risky: on the one hand you think it automatically make you cool as a  top model of lipstick advertisings (ahaahah ) on the other hand there is the risk of being excessive,  that the color does not fit to your complexion etc etc. .. In short, the cons are more of the pros, but I'm stubborn and I wanted to try the same. I must say that when the lipstick arrived I was afraid to see the result on my lips, but I had to change my mind .Despite being an important color,  is portable (even in daylight for the bravest XD), naturally with a very light make-up (golden rule: as much color on the lips = little on the  eyes). Despite being a matte (matte usually tend to dry out the lips) the Russian red leaves the lips hydrated enough, is very pigmented, takes off easily and has a good longevity (after having had lunch just needs a touch up).The application needs a little attention because like all very bright lipsticks needs definition and any burrs are much more (a lip brush or even better a lipliner). The only flaw, if I find one, is that not being a no transfer leaves its mark on the glass when you drink or when you kiss someone: but I find that is not much of a problem for me .  Russian red is promoted!!! You can see the swatch on my lips on my Instagram page.
My votes for this lipstick
Product quality: 10/10
Longevity: 9/10
Pigmentation: 10/10
8/10 application
Russian red  : comprarlo o no?

Valentine's day sweet ideas

Running out of ideas for Valentine's day? What do you think about these beautiful pink silicone molds heart made by Silkomart ?I found by chance in the ward kitchen tools in my supermarket and I could not resist! I must say that I was a bit skeptical about the use of silicone Bakeware in the kitchen, but I changed my mind! Besides giving sweets a very pretty shape, no mould should be buttered and they wash with great ease because the cupcake come off very well and leaving no residue. I was concerned that the molds shouldn't be buttered, cupcake instead came off with surprising ease, much better than the classic disposable aluminum cups  . As you can read on the package (which contains 6 cupcake moulds), they can be washed in the dishwasher, you can put them in the freezer, oven and microwave and resist well to both high and low temperatures. On the site you can purchase online this heart shaped moulds  http://www.silikomart.com/blog/products/cup03-set-6-cupcakes-love. In addition to these moulds there are other beautiful cupcake molds, chocolates and cakes and other tools for pastry and cake design.
I have already tried the moulds  and soon I'll make a post with the cupcake recipe for Valentine's day made with them.
See you to the next post!

Nutella Cookies

As I mentioned this blog rises not to treat a single argument, but to talk about various different passions  and kitchen is one of these ,so I thought I'd share with you this recipe.
Who doesn't love Nutella? Despite all say that gets hurt is impossible to resist her!
These cookies with Nutella are very simple and quick to make, also suitable to those who feel a little clumsy in the kitchen and to those like me who didnt want to wash a thousand things after preparing something (you'll have to clean only a few things: the bowl for the dough and rolling pin!)
The tools that you will need for the recipe are:
-Libra
-rolling pin
-parchment paper
-cookie cutters for cookies in three different sizes (flowers, hearts or whatever you want)
-teaspoon (for cookies)
-mixer like Kitchen Aid of something similar (if you don't have it you can easily knead by hand even if you put a little bit more)

And here are the ingredients:

*First put the butter at room temperature at least 30 minutes before starting the recipe (especially if it's winter) to facilitate the working of the dough

-Mix all ingredients in a  Bowl or  Kitchen Aid (photo 1)

-The dough is a kind of pastry so it worked very little otherwise it will not be crisp. Just have the consistency that you see in the picture 2 is ready

-Roll out the parchment paper and flour (3) (if you have a beautiful marble kitchen floor to work you can live without it and roll out the dough. The thickness should be about 3 mm (photo 6)

-Each cookie consists of two flowers. One larger and one midsized placed over "to roll". The smallest of the three we need to create a hole in the Middle so that cookie  show the filling inside. (photos 4, 5 and 6)

-Put the biscotti on baking sheet covered with parchment paper a little distance between them so that they do not join in cooking (photo7)

-VENTILATED oven cook for 15 minutes at 180 degrees (the temperature varies depending on the oven so take a look after the first 10 minutes)

-Cold once it's time to fill the cookies. Of course you can use whatever you want as a topping: jam, cream etc ... but  Nutella is always  Nutella! XD

-Put a little Nutella on the biggest cookie-I have put half a teaspoon, then it's up to you to decide how much, but not too exaggerated because resting on top of the other cookie might exit from all sides (photos8, 9 and 10 )

-And here are the cookies ready with a sprinkling of powdered sugar! To preserve them better submit even close them in a tin box and they will last many days fresh as freshly baked.

I hope that you enjoy the recipe and if you like it, write a comment and let me know if you have tried to get them. See you soon!
